Our annual CFS Shield Day was held on Saturday 28 March, and despite some rocky weather early on, it turned out to be a brilliant day. To the volunteers and organisers, the CFS staff, the committee, the players, the families, our club members, and the prize donors – THANK YOU. We don’t know what we would do without your generous support.
On the day, we enjoyed Junior and Senior games, delicious food and drinks, a fundraiser raffle with over 20 different prizes, a CFS truck on display (with many kids testing out the water hose!), and plenty of entertainment for the kids in our dedicated Fun Zone.
As a result of the day, we are proud to announce that the funds raised for the Tea Tree Gully and One Tree Hill Country Fire Services have come to a grand total of $6100. From this, $3000 will be donated to the One Tree Hill Country Fire Service and $3100 donated to the Tea Tree Gully Country Fire Service. (The additional $100 is a prize for winning the CFS penalty shoot out!) Overall, it was a fantastic effort for the men and women who volunteer and risks their lives regularly to help others.

We aim to provide junior players with an opportunity to succeed in line with their own desires and we hope that they will stay with the club and make the transition through to our Senior Teams.
